Sadie's First Easter!

Sadie had such a great easter. We were telling her about the easter bunny the night before and when we woke up the next morning. We were in luck.. The Easter Bunny came!!! Sadie loved her basket. She got some great stuff from the bunny. Some new outfits, toys, some books, even a new bottle! Boy that bunny knows what he is doing!!

We got Sadie in her special Easter dress and headed out to Kris' grandparents. Easter is always so much fun there. They have such a cute tradion that they find easter eggs with paper on them saying how much they are worth. Then when the hunt is over everyone lines up and goes to Grandpa to get their money. Kris was so excited to start this tradion with Sadie. We found a couple eggs for her and took her straight to Grandpa. It meant so much to Kris to pass that tradition on to his daughter. It was precious.

Next up was Yia and Diddy's. It was pretty cool the easter bunny hid eggs there too! We waited for Zoe and Jeremy to get started. Sadie thought it was SO much fun watching Zoe and Jeremy run around trying to get the eggs. It was so cute. They both brought Sadie an egg every once in a while to make sure she was included. They are seriously the best cousins. She loves them so much.

We had an amazing first Easter as a family!!! Can't wait for next year. So she can go on the hunt with the other kids!!!

Dying Easter Eggs

It was the first year that Kris and I actually did our own eggs, we usually dye some at my moms. But we needed to start our own tradition with Sadie. It was so much fun. We all had such a great time. Sadie wanted to hold all the eggs so bad but we knew she would put them right in her mouth so we decided it wouldn't be the best idea. haha.

Kris and I had so much fun doing it. We plugged in the music and just enjoyed our family. I wanted to get a family picture of us so I pulled out my tripod and got the best picture ever. It shows you how much fun Sadie was having she just knew to smile for the camera. I can't wait for years to come to carry on our easter egg tradition.

Flowers for Mama and Sadie

Kris surprised Sadie and I with some flowers one day just because. It was so sweet. Sadie loved them she wanted to touch them so bad, so we decided to let her. But once she got close she was so timid she wouldn't touch them. It was so cute. She would just kick and talk to the flowers. It was so cute. Sadie sure does have a great daddy to bring her flowers. We love him so much!
